I can tell you there's one big problem with that: Someone will have to keep an eye on it. Sure, you can use VTD and sure, you can say "anything goes" but there's always more to it than people realize. The fact of the matter is, it'd take more work from the people who already don't have the time or energy to babysit the main forum. Things like threats, copyrighted material, child porn, disturbing images, etc all get slammed on "general/anything goes" forums. Even though most people here may be civil it only takes one angry jackass to go nuts and get D&G into hot water. Forums like that take dedication and effort by the admins because they have to search everything as you can't go by title alone since it's so broad. From what I've seen and the impression I've received from the powers that be, TT.net is lucky to still even have a General Z related forum right now. I've hinted and even said that before but nowadays it's more true than ever. Damon can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I am. If it wasn't for the fact that D&G have some responsibility to the sponsors (as in they paid for their banners/etc), I think we'd already be shut down and/or limited to just Technical and the FAQs. I hope it never comes to that...but all good things must die sometime. /alarmist
